Reliable, Prompt and Focused On Saving Money

Geophysical surveys can save companies money by providing accurate and reliable data on subsurface conditions, allowing for efficient and targeted excavation or construction work. By avoiding unexpected obstacles or hazards, companies can avoid costly delays and repairs, and make informed decisions that optimize project outcomes.

Services We Provide

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

is a geophysical method that uses radar pulses to image the subsurface. It is a non-intrusive method of surveying the sub-surface to investigate underground anomalies such as USTs (underground storage tanks), former foundations, metals, pipes, cables and unknown utilities. This nondestructive method uses electromagnetism in the microwave band(UHF/VHF frequencies) of the radio spectrum, and detects the reflected signals from subsurface structures. GPR can have applications in a variety of media, including rock, soil, ice, fresh water, pavements and structures. In the right conditions, practitioners can use GPR to detect subsurface objects, changes in material properties, and voids and cracks.

Environmental Bore Hole Clearings

Environmental site assessments can be complex and often require areas to be cleared for borehole drilling. Planning the location of boreholes is a very common geotechnical problem where we use advanced geophysical equipment including GPR to identify underground obstructions and define clear zones for borehole drilling."

Concrete Scanning

Concrete scanning is a non-destructive method of inspecting concrete structures for the detection of embedded objects, such as rebar, post-tension cables, and conduits. This process allows for accurate mapping of the location and depth of these objects, ensuring safe and efficient drilling, cutting, or coring of concrete.

Locate Buried Utilities

Locating buried utilities with mapping involves using geophysical methods and technologies to detect and map underground utilities, such as gas, water, and sewer lines, as well as communication cables and electrical conduits. This process helps prevent accidental damage to these utilities during construction and excavation projects, ensuring the safety of workers and the surrounding community.

Surveys and Locating

UST surveys and locating involve using geophysical methods and technologies to detect and locate underground storage tanks (USTs) and associated infrastructure, such as pipes and dispensers. This process is crucial for environmental assessments and remediation efforts, allowing for accurate mapping of the location and condition of USTs and the identification of potential environmental hazards.
